Lebowski Bash at Caroline
June 21st, 2008 | by Matthew Wettergreen | Published in Upcoming Community Events | 1 Comment
Today at Caroline we celebrate 10 years of the Dude. That’s right, everyone’s favorite slacker, popularized by the Coen Brothers’ Big Lebowski. Houston’s Lebowski Bash will have live music, DJs, merchandise and a screening of the film. Oh and don’t forget bowling. Texas‚Äô own Tito‚Äôs Vodka and Houston‚Äôs Saint Arnold brewery are helping to really tie the festival together. Local stores and artists will be on hand to sell various Lebowski related merchandise.
This party is free, open to the public and all-ages. Beverages will only be served with proper ID. Parking is conveniently available in the surrounding neighborhood.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
4 PM to 7 PM – Vinyl Ranch
7 PM – 8 PM – The Tontons
8 PM – 10 PM – screening of The Big Lebowski
Remember to stay hydrated as it is going to be a scorcher on Saturday and remember to always abide!
