Save Ferris… Save Lives

This Saturday night, September 6, Caroline Collective will host “Save Ferris… Save Lives,” an event by the Texas Girls for a Cure benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The 80s themed party kicks off at 6 pm and will feature outdoor showings of John Hughes’ “The Breakfast Club” (8 pm) and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (10pm) on the big screen. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children. And, of course, there will be refreshments including all-you-can-drink beer and Tito’s Vodka. Come dressed as your favorite John Hughes character and you could win a prize!!

Here’s a little glimpse of what these ladies are about from their website:

Together we are Texas Girls for a Cure dedicated to raising money on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We each joined Team in Training for different personal reasons but have bonded together to take steps together to find a cure. All of the money we raise is donated directly to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to benefit all the men, women, and children currently battling a blood cancer and to help research cures for all forms of cancer now and in the future.

For more information about the event and the organization, check out Texas Girls for a Cure online.
