Mindy Kober’s Political Cartoon Workshop at ArtStorm
This Saturday at 1pm, Houston artist Mindy Kober, ArtStorm’s current featured artist, will be teaching a kids’ workshop on political cartoons.¬† Kober will be discussing the historical impact of political cartoons and giving a brief history of the subject. The kids will be involved in hands-on activities designed to help them understand and connect to the topic.
This workshop is for children aged 10 and older, and teenagers are encouraged to attend; No prior drawing skills are required.  Space is limited to 25 participants, so get to ArtStorm early to sign up for this wonderful opportunity with a great local artist.
For those that can’t make it out (or don’t quite meet the age requirement), we definitely recommend that you stop by ArtStorm to see Kober’s exhibit, Politics and the Weather.
