On May 6 Werkadoo and Caroline Collective will host a free business workshop led by Adam Blumberg.

This workshop will focus on educating the attendees regarding asset protection, wealth accumulation, retirement planning, and tax reduction strategies. We will talk about a “Financial Home” – the analogy for a solid financial plan – including emergency funds, life and disability insurance strategies, retirement and college saving, and other investments. We will discuss ways to calculate the amount of protection needed and how to allocate toward different retirement savings vehicles.

Adam will also be open to answering questions, so please come prepared to ask. The presentation usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour, depending on questions.

Adam Blumberg is a Financial Services Professional with Strategic Financial Group in Houston. He focuses on helping young professionals, business owners, and families with special needs find ways to protect their assets, grow their wealth, and reduce their taxes.

After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance, Adam worked for Intel Corp., and a CPA firm in Houston. He then spent several years in the start-up technology world, first as the Director of Business Development for a custom application development company, then as the co-founder and president of a software and IT service company. Adam sold the company to one of his employees so he could go back to his financial roots.

Adam lives in Houston with his wife, Camila, and their two dogs.
