Caroline welcomes more members to our community with Denise Lee & Roberto Minervini, filmmakers and green developers. Not only are Denise and Roberto extremely creative and entrepreneurial, they have warmly embraced coworking. Be sure to look out for their current project, the feature film “Marfa Red.”
Denise Lee & Roberto Minervini are cofounders of two Houston/NYC-based companies, Pulpa Entertainment and Urban Trees Developers, both currently doing projects in Texas. Denise is a former lawyer turned multi-faceted artist/writer/developer who studied fashion design at Parsons and is currently working with David Henry Hwang to adapt his Pulitzer-prize nominated play “The Dance and the Railroad” into a film. Roberto is an Italian-born award-winning writer, director and lecturer who recently won the Grand Remi Award “Best of Houston” at the 2009 Houston Worldfest film festival. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Cinema History from the Universidad Aut√≥noma of Madrid.
Pulpa Entertainment is a media/entertainment company hard at work on the feature film “Marfa Red,” a contemplative indie film about a road trip through West Texas, to be shot in July of 2009.
Urban Trees Developers is a real estate development company, currently building 2 single-family LEED-certified homes in Montrose. Done in collaboration with award-winning architect Jim Evans from Collaborative Designworks, these homes feature sustainable modern design with a boutique attention to detail.
