Caroline Collective has found a new Operations Manager! David Barron will be taking over for Julie as of January 4th, 2010. This of course means that the intern search is officially closed; thank you to those who applied and those who were interviewed. We are incredibly excited and looking forward to working with David in the weeks and months to come.
Hello all! I am currently a second year undergraduate student at the University of Houston, studying towards a Bachelors of Science in psychology. I play a variety of instruments and write music in my free time. I have always been into local community projects, the local music scene, local technology hubs, and I am very excited about interning at CC because I greatly respect the sense of community that is at the very core of the idea behind it. CC has done so much amazing work towards creating a highly vibrant and lively cultural community scene in Houston and I love that I can be a part of that, to be able to work with the people who were behind it, to be able to learn from them, to grow from them, and to hopefully make friends and contacts that I will keep for life. CC is highly representative of the kind of world that I want to live in, one that values things like community, culture, music, art, work-ethic, technology, and I am indescribably excited to start working.
