Build an EEG machine with a team of friends! Use the readouts of brainwave activity as a source of inspiration for creating art.

A marriage of science and art with a DIY mentality, this workshop aims to create content and inspiration for artwork through homebrewed EEG machines. Bring a team of friends to pool creativity! With a little instruction, We will show your team how to build an EEG machine capable of detecting and graphing the body’s electro impulses.

The participants are encouraged to use the readouts or the electo-impulses themselves as a basis for image making. The final images will be exhibited a month after the workshop at the Caroline Collective.
