As many may be aware, Houston Startup Weekend is happening tomorrow at Bouncing Pixel and we could not be more excited!

A 54 hour speed-incubation, the weekend starts on  Friday evening with 60-second elevator pitches for ideas, which are voted on by the attendees. By 9:00PM, teams have formed around the top ideas and begin to work.

Throughout the weekend, the teams receive gentle guidance from mentors and a Q&A over legal concerns for startups.

By Sunday at 5:00 , the presentations of the startups begin.  After Two and a half hours, the projects are judged by a dream-team of Houstonian entrepreneurs (including  J.R. Cohen, Brian Truax, Aimee Woodall, Caroline Collective co-founder Matthew Wettergreen, and more).
