Grammy GPS: A Road Map For Today’s Music Biz

On Tuesday, May 3rd the Recording Academy Texas Chapter will hold a development event for musicians and recording industry pros to inform them of the protean landscape of the recording industry. Here’s a look at the panels:

Music in the Digital World
Digital technology has changed how we create, promote, perform, acquire, and experience music–all within a very short period of time.  Everyone in the food chain, from song writer to the music fan has had to adapt.  This panel will explore where we are now, and what the immediate future might bring.
Panelists: Dan Workman

Getting Your Music in Films and Video Games
Everything you need to know about getting your music in films, video games, TV and advertising. The panel will conclude with tips on what Music Supervisors are looking for and how to reach them.
