Internships
Caroline Collective is always on the look out for quality people. The Caroline Collective Internship is an opportunity for interested students to gain hands-on experience in business administration, community building, social media and event promotion.
Currently we offer internships in the Summer, Fall, and Spring. We’re happy to work with your scheduling needs, but expect to spend between 20-30 hours a week here. We provide a modest stipend as compensation for work, plus interns get all the perks of working with Houston’s vibrant entrepreneurial community. We look for Summer interns starting in April, Fall interns starting in late July, and Spring interns starting in December.
Working closely with the operations manager, interns will aid with:
- day to day business upkeep
- cultivating the CC social media channels: facebook, twitter, mailing list and website
- using these channels to promote CC-hosted community events
- assisting organization of Bandcamp, our series of music-business classes for local musicians
- covering the front desk, welcoming guests and giving tours
Caroline Collective is a unique combination of public workspace, community center and office building in the Museum District.
